Read Write Web covered my joining the reddit team, and even better they called me a "trouble-making rogue". That's quite a pungent description, but I hope to live up to it. There's a lot of difficult and detailed work to be done in this gig for sure, but I need to keep looking to make trouble in the positive, fun, routine-breaking sense of the phrase.
And yes, that IS a No Limit medallion the alien is rocking.
I started last week as the "Community Manager" of Reddit.com, and I couldn't be more excited about the gig. I've been a huge reddit fanboy since I first heard about the site and I'm always impressed by the stories I learn about on reddit. Part of my responsibilities are to help grow the new reddit communities at celebrity gossip reddit: WeHeartGossip and cute reddit:TheCuteList. That's right, it's now concretely in my job description to look at cute photos of baby otters and paparazzi shots, and that's only the begining. I love you, internets!

The new 007 Villain Collection marketing campaign from Swatch is nothing ground breaking, but I am a fan of most things swatch and 007, so I was eager to take their "What's Your Evil Nature Test?"
I was relived to learn that I was most like Emilio Largo. I'd like to think that if I was a villain, I'd be one of the grand world domination cold war masterminds of old and not one of the more down to earth Franz Sanchez type criminals.
From a marketing standpoint, the campaign site has all the standard viral hooks, embed codes for badges, share with a friend options, video clips, downloadable mp3s, and fun facts about all of the 007 badies. The "What's Your Evil Nature" quiz is particularly well executed with the quiz having bright and iconic visual choices instead of the usual text.
